About the Organisation Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is one of the largest pathology practices in Australia, providing comprehensive services to patients and doctors over a geographic area throughout Queensland and New South Wales and employing more than 3000 people.
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology services the Brisbane metropolitan area and regional areas extending as far north as Cairns and south to Coffs Harbour and offers both routine testing and specialised testing for referral laboratories throughout Australia.
About the Opportunity Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an opportunity for a full-time Accounts Administration Officer to join our Commercial Services Department in Bowen Hills, Brisbane.
In this role, you will be on a rotating weekly roster working from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm and 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
This position would suit an enthusiastic self-starter who is team orientated and willing to jump into any task at hand.
You will display strong organisational and analytical skills alongside a passion for continuous quality improvement.
This role encompasses a variety of tasks, including (but not limited to): Managing client billing and reconciliation of accounts Managing Medicare and Private Health Fund claims Daily banking Working alongside the billing team to troubleshoot issues that may arise General administration tasks We are looking for an enthusiastic and solutions-driven individual who can work effectively as part of a team and who is willing to jump into any task at hand.
To thrive in this role, you will have strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and solid alpha-numeric keyboard skills.
A moderate level of Microsoft Excel knowledge is also required.
Although not essential, previous experience working in the medical sector, relevant qualifications and knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) will be highly regarded.
