Sydney - Full Time - Hybrid - Manager
We are looking for a lawyer to join our growing employment practice within the Office of General Counsel (OGC) team.?You will provide specialist employment and strategic advice to the business to help it navigate business critical decisions relating to its employees, Partners and the workplace more broadly. You will be involved in the decision-making process across the full scope of employment matters, including: litigation, conduct matters, partner disputes, investigations, regulatory matters, leave entitlements, terminations, redundancies, policy and cultural reviews.
A successful candidate will have a genuine interest in providing commercial and legal solutions. You should be an ambitious high performer seeking to work in an environment that promotes collaboration, curiosity and challenge in our work. Importantly, you will be interested in working as part of a team and embedding yourself within PwC's culture. In addition, you will have:
4 to 8 years PQE, ideally with an employment law background and preferably with private practice experience
Experience conducting litigation
Technical and employment / workplace law knowledge
Excellent interpersonal and commercial skills, as well as an ability to build relationships and influence with impact
The ability to identify and consider critical and key issues, assess and articulate legal risks (including likelihood and impact) so the business can make informed, risk-based commercial decisions
The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
