You will work under the guidance of an experienced Partner, gaining experience in both front-end and back-end employment relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) matters, with additional exposure to workplace safety issues. Your responsibilities will include:Drafting and advising on employment agreements and contractsHandling enterprise bargaining agreementsManaging workplace health and safety matters from start to finishRepresenting clients in unfair dismissal and unlawful termination casesAddressing restraint of trade concernsManaging workplace harassment and bullying claimsIn this role, you will work with a diverse client base from both the public and private sectors, giving you the chance to develop a broad skill set and grow within the team.ABOUT YOUTo succeed in this role, you will need:At least 3 years of post-admission (up to Senior Associate) experience in Employment and Workplace Relations LawA strong desire to advance your career in employment lawExcellent commercial acumen, attention to detail, and communication skillsThis position is ideal for someone who is ambitious and eager to take the next step in their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.THE APPLICATION PROCESSAt Law Staff, we offer all Lawyers a lounge room setting for a relaxed, confidential discussion over coffee/tea, allowing you to comfortably provide us an understanding of your skills as well as ideals around your next role.
