About the position We are on the lookout for an Employment Consultant, who is passionate about making a difference, to join our Employment Services team. This role will be supporting and engaging customers to find meaningful employment to people with disabilities and reduce barriers to employment. This is a full-time permanent position based in our Malaga and Coolbinia Locations.
As an Employment Consultant, you will: Assist job seekers in preparing for and securing employment through a variety of pre-employment activitiesWork collaboratively with jobseekers and employers to support the achievement of employment goals and opportunitiesProvide personalised assistance to enhance and develop job readinessEffectively manage a caseload of jobseekers whilst adhering to both the NDIS and DES service grant agreement and compliance requirements to maintain a high quality serviceContribute to the growth of the service through successfully moving jobseekers through the various phases of the programAbout You Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with jobseekers, employers, the team and othersDemonstrated experience in case management or relationship managementStrong time management skills and the ability to manage competing administration tasks effectively with a high attention to detailStrong computer literacyActively contribute to the overall performance and success of the servicePrevious experience in delivering employment support is desirableA relevant post-secondary or tertiary qualification (for example Marketing, Disability Services, or Human Services) is desirableRight to work in Australia with ability to obtain National Police Check, Working with Children's check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, COVID-19 VaccinationsBenefits Access to ongoing professional development through our depth of experience and shared knowledgeIncrease your take home pay by salary packaging up to a maximum of $18,550A flexible employee benefits offering which includes Employee Assistance Program, Private Health Insurance and Workplace Banking Program discountsA strong employee listening culture which provides regular opportunities to provide your feedback and make improvements to our organisationFlexible working arrangementsA genuine and supportive team cultureApplications close Friday 10th January 2025 For any questions please contact Domenic Crouch on or .
