PAY BANDING: $63k-$77k + Super + Salary Packaging benefitsNOT FOR PROFIT: Salary package up to $15,900 per annum each FBT year plus further meals and entertainment benefits up to $2649 paOPERATIONAL HOURS: 9.00am to 5.06pm, Monday to FridayDo you want to improve your skills or kickstart your career within Disability Employment Services?About the JobAs an Employment Consultant, you will use your skills to support and guide clients to attain suitable, meaningful employment opportunities that lead to sustainable employment outcomes.
You will use your customer service skills to build rapport with your clients, assist them on their employment journey, and overcome barriers to employment.Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders as part of managing the referral & intake process of job seekers into their chosen program with MatchWorksAssessment of job seeker skills, abilities, identification of barriers, and intervention strategiesIn consultation with our job seekers, develop and maintain work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions (including other service providers), and employment support activitiesReverse marketing of job seekers to achieve sustainable employment opportunitiesProvide pre-employment assistance through vocational counselling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience to increase capacity for employmentSkills & ExperienceYou are self-driven, resilient, hungry to succeed, and experienced in Customer Service (Retail, Hospitality, or other).
