This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced employment consultant with minimum 1 year experience with an Accredited Rehabilitation Provider who is looking for a new challenge to utilise their skills in a new environment!
In your new role you will work with workers and employers to source permanent and temporary employment by method of providing job-seeking assistance, coaching and employment canvassing.
Employment Services Consultants are responsible for assisting individuals with psychological injury claims to recover and return to work.
Your career will be nurtured by working with a strong and supportive team of psychologists and rehabilitation counsellors as well-respected industry leaders and subject matter experts.

Within Your New Role You Will Co-manage a case load of vocational rehabilitation files for the purpose of providing job seeking and employment services Conduct job seeking activities for clients, including seeking and completing applications and cold canvassing for employment opportunities Seeking opportunities to engage clients in SIRA Vocational Programs including Work Trials and Job Placement Program Coaching individuals in job seeking techniques Administer an Employment Skills Education Program to clients Maintain regular liaison with clients and key stakeholders in performing vocational rehabilitation and job seeking Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders, including Rehabilitation Consultants, Psychologist and management regarding progress of each case Monitoring of client job seeking activities and job seeking logs Assistance in the completion of labour market research for clients including contact with employer to obtain information relating to identified employment goals Attend quarterly meetings Attend ongoing internal and external professional development training   About You Minimum of one years' experience in a similar role with an Accredited Rehabilitation Provider Car and valid Driver's license Knowledge of NSW Workers Compensation scheme, and SIRA programs available for workers Superior marketing, reverse marketing, customer service and communication skills Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships Have a demonstrated understanding of the barriers and challenges facing job seeking and those with current Worker's Compensation claims Have excellent communication, organisational, team and administrative skills Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement If you are looking for the next step in your career, apply today.
