As our new Job Development Officer (Employment Consultant), you will be joining our supportive and client-centred team on the Gold Coast. Using your sales and customer service skills, you'll be pro-actively supporting your clients with a disability to find and maintain meaningful employment in the local area. This is a dynamic and busy role that offers great job satisfaction.
You will need to share our passion for what we do in this KPI driven environment!

Responsibilities include:Generate and optimise employment for job seekers.Create job opportunities with effective marketing plans.Inspire and coach job seekers to reach their employment goals!Provide ongoing support in the workplace.Be committed to our values and helping others succeed.Selection criteria includes:Experience in a DES or Employment Services role (desirable).OR in a target-focused role with a keen desire to help others.'Can do' attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic fun environment!Experience and knowledge with Mental Health would be advantageous.Drive and energy to achieve quality outcomes.Great communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to consult, negotiate and problem-solve.Be organised with strong administration skills.Ability to build key partnerships with businesses in the local community.Flexibility to cover all three Gold Coast locations.A valid C class driving license.Blue card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance to start (we can help).Benefits:Competitive salary + tax savings.Car through salary packaging.17.5% Leave loading.Based in Southport, Gold Coast.Join a supportive and friendly successful team.Professional development.Values-based organisation with a clear vision and commitment to the client.Applications to close by Thursday 28th March 2024, unless filled prior.
