Our social impact is far reaching, supporting First Nations youths and families, young mothers, people living with disabilities, people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, and more.The RoleAn exciting opportunity has become available to join our Disability Employment Services (DES) team in the position of Employment Consultant. You will be working across two sites x3 days per week at Airport West and x2 days per week at Coburg. The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Actively source job opportunities for your customers through marketing techniques.Working with customers face-to-face and over the phone.Advocating for people with a disability to potential employers within your local community.Identifying job vacancies and match suitable customers from your caseload.Educate your customers on interview preparation and workplace expectations.Identify and address your customers complex barriers to employment.Build rapport and maintain effective relationships with customers, employers, and community organisations.What You'll NeedIdeally experience in a similar Employment Services/Recruitment position.Experience working towards and achieving sales targets and KPIs within a compliance driven environment.Planning, coordination, and time management skills, along with attention to detail.Highly motivated and enthusiastic about making a real change in people's lives through sustainable employment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Have full rights to live and work in Australia (with NO restrictions).Have a Working with Children's Check in the state you are working (or willingness to get one).Agree for us to undertake a Criminal History Check.Current drivers licence and access to own vehicle.The BenefitsWe offer a range of fantastic employee benefits including:Not for profit salary packaging - increasing your take home pay.17.5% Leave LoadingMonthly RDOExtra leaveNext StepsSend us your cover letter (keep it to 1 page) and your resume.Click the QUICK APPLY button on this page and upload your cover letter and resume.Ready to love your job and make a real social impact?
