As an Employment Coach you will actively engage with participants to overcome career challenges, develop essential skills, and achieve their employment goals.
SYC delivers employment services at over 50 locations throughout Australia.
We are currently seeking for a passionate Employment Coach to join our team in Frankston.
In this role, you'll be part of a supportive and result driven team who are dedicated to our vision of well-being, independence and opportunity for everyone.
Day- to-day activities will include: Providing one-to-one coaching sessions to participants, assessing their career needs, and creating personalised action plans.
Conducting career assessments and helping clients identify their strengths, interests, and values to guide their employment goals.
Using sales strategies to work collaboratively and network with community organisations to create opportunities for participants.
Assisting participants in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
Referring participants through training, counselling, and other services to increase long term employment outcomes.
Ensuring compliance requirements are met.
About You As someone who enjoys working autonomously within a broader team environment, enthusiastic, empathetic, and dedicated to make a difference in people's lives.
You will have experience in administration, strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and outlined KPI targets and able to work in an agile environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate: Experience in customer service, client facing or an administrative role.
Time management, organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise in order to achieve outcomes.
Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal, and written skills, and the ability to conduct client assessments, developing case plans and case notes and reports.
Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems.
Ability to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders.
Excellent computer skills.
For this role, you will need to: Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
