We'll provide comprehensive training, and help you achieve a Certificate IV in Employment Services within the first 12 months on the job.
Key Responsibilities Employment Coach is a dynamic and rewarding position.
You will play a key role in assisting our customers to set and achieve their goals while meeting the contractual requirements of an employment service provider.
Your day-to-day can include the following: Assisting diverse customers in overcoming personal and professional challenges Delivering coaching to improve employability skills, confidence and career planning Preparing quality resumes, cover letters and supporting the job application process Finding suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocating on their behalf Referring customers to internal and external support for housing, mental health and financial counselling Providing additional mentoring and support during the first six months of employment Documenting customer information and progress accurately within Workskil Australia and Government systems About You You'll be a great fit for the team if you have a passion and drive for helping others.
You will be self-motivated, inclusive and open-minded, and willing to listen and support without judgement.
Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate the following: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Working independently and as part of a team Ability to achieve individual targets and work to clearly defined KPIs Strong administration skills and IT literacy, including data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Meeting a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute Applicants with previous experience in employment services will be highly regarded.

The Employment Coach position carries ($61,333 – $76,665) + super with annual remuneration reviews + up to $15 900 with salary packaging Wellbeing Day Full-time staff enjoy a day off each fortnight while accruing full-time wages, superannuation, and leave entitlements.
Salary Packaging Increase your take home pay by making a portion of your salary tax-free while maintaining full superannuation contributions.
Up to $15,900 annually.
Parental Leave Workskil Australia provides paid parental leave for either parent for 6 weeks, with up to 12 months of leave available.
