The Role The Employee Relations Specialist will assist the Workplace Relations and People Partnering Business Team by providing specialist knowledge and support in workplace and employee relations case management.
Some of the things you'll be responsible for include:
 
Provide advice on industrial and employment relations issues, Provide advice on and regarding the interpretation of employee and industrial relations legislation, enterprise agreements and policies. Support business change projects and assist people leaders in facilitating outcomes that support a constructive culture. Deal directly with employees and their representatives (unions) on complex workplace matters. Prepare documentation for and represent TasWater in external industrial forums such as Fair Work Commission. What we're looking for This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficiency and accuracy in case management, while supporting the wider team as they undertake enterprise agreement negotiations.
 
To be successful you will need to:
 
Have experience in a similar role, Have significant experience in preparing clear, concise and well-argued written and verbal communication, including reports, briefs, submissions and policy. And a demonstrated ability to consult with leaders and engage in negotiations in a proactive way.

The Details This fixed term role, available for 18 months, can be based in either Hobart or Launceston, with hybrid work arrangements available, and can be worked full time or part time, with flexible work arrangements, start and finish times and job share options all considered.

This role attracts a salary of $120,700 – $163,300 (inclusive of superannuation) dependents on experience.
