Your opportunity: Our Experience Performance Team are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join us on our journey to ensure that Urban Utilities delivers upon its employee relations strategy. This includes associated frameworks, policies and procedures, contracts and instruments that help create an engaged and enabled workforce.

Reporting to the Workplace Relations Lead, the Employee Relations Specialist will play a vital role in executing the Experience Group strategy. Your responsibilities will include providing expert advice, supporting negotiations, managing escalated cases, and contributing to the development of our remuneration framework and job architecture. Additionally, you'll design policies and practices that align with Urban Utilities' strategic objectives and enhance our overall employee experience.

You'll find more details in the position description hereExperience - Employee Relations Specialist - E2846.1 - 20221107.pdf About you: With previous experience in the employee relations field, you will have a strong understanding of employment law and regulations with the ability to communicate, influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.

Relevant tertiary qualifications with a focus on Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Employee Relations
Specialist Employee Relations experience with demonstrated experience in investigating, preparing and managing complex cases
Experience supporting all elements of consultation and high-level negotiation of industrial instruments (including enterprise agreements)
Ability to understand, interpret and operationalise EA clauses and provide advice to leaders to make informed decisions
