Employee Relations Manager Permanent opportunity, either 4 or 5 days per week Competitive salary $140,000-150,000 + super Located in Parramatta, parking on site, flexible working About the organisation: Beaumont People have partnered with BusNSW, the peak body representing bus and coach operators and industry suppliers in NSW.
As the Employee Relations Manager you will add to the mission of building a safe and sustainable workforce, working closely with the members on industry practices, supporting workforce development and enhancing member engagement.
Key duties and responsibilities: Provide practical and accurate guidance to members of ER matters including service contracts, operator accreditation, industry awards and EBAs Monitor, interpret and update industry regulations and requirements in a member friendly way Respond to member inquiries regarding HR, ER and workplace issues while assisting with navigating employment law and industry regulations Assisting members with navigating, interpreting and complying with awards, EBAs and Enterprise Negotiations Create member fact sheets to help create digestible materials around employee relations and regulation changes Provide secretarial and administrative support to key committees, prepare agendas, take minutes and ensure key objectives are met Stakeholder representation in discussions with government agencies, regulators, etc.
acting as an advocate for the bus and coach industry Policy and reform development, including assisting with submissions on inquiries of the industry Project management and other duties where required Previous skills and experience: Bachelor's degree in business, IR, HR or related field Proven experience in employee relations, industrial relations and general HR knowledge Strong understanding of Fair Work Laws and Enterprise Agreement Bargaining Exceptional written and verbal communication for all levels of employees, members and external stakeholders Demonstrated ability to manage several projects with conflicting deadlines Prior experience with member-based organisation or for purpose organisations highly desirable A team player who is happy to contribute to the wider team goals and outcomes How to apply: If you are interested in this role, please apply ASAP.
