Frazer Jones is delighted to be partnering with a global fashion business that is currently hiring for a 12-month contract role as an Employee Relations Manager to lead the regional development, implementation, and execution of the group strategy.
About the Role Working as part of the wider HR Team, you will provide support, guidance, and leadership to local specialists in the People Relations team. You are responsible for labour law, industrial & labour relations, including legal advice connected to existing markets, new markets, business models, and strategies. Other key responsibilities include:
Implement and govern the Regional/Market ER & People Relations strategy and coach leaders in strategic and operational issues.Evaluate and analyse data and metrics to ensure the impact of the People Relations strategy and priorities.Lead negotiations with local work councils and unions, including collective bargaining negotiations.Proactively interpret and apply laws, regulations, and agreements to ensure compliance.Interpret and draft various employment agreements and templates.Conduct and support arbitration processes and disputes.Manage individual cases, internal investigations, incidents, and disciplinary actions locally.Oversee health & safety management of the work environment (physical, digital, organisational, and social work environment/psychosocial) and wellbeing.Ensure proactive management of incidents, accidents, risk observation, and reporting throughout the business operation in collaboration with local teams.Act as strategic and operational support for different stakeholders at the regional/market level, including the management team.About You The ideal candidate for this role enjoys a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with ambiguity while also creating structure and order. You are flexible, driven, passionate, positive, collaborative, and curious. You are comfortable developing cross-functional collaborations on-site as well as remotely. You have a good business understanding and the ability to translate business context into needed actions from a people relations perspective.
This role is 4 days a week. The salary is $175,000 + Super FTE. The consultant is Angela Franks, and the reference is: 279806.
