This role supports daily operations by the interpretation of multiple industrial agreements, updates and changes in the industrial relations framework and applying these to our busy service focused environment.
From being able to respond to multiple enquiries and coaching our small team through complex investigations, drafting agreements and running BOOTs, to liaising with the Fair Work Commission, Ombudsman and Unions, this positions key focus is employee relations.
About you You'll have the ability to quickly grasp complexities, analyse information and provide recommendations that drive business outcomes.
You will love being busy, reading, analysing and applying agreements, awards and legislation.
With a confident, engaging and pragmatic approach you'll be able to navigate ambiguity, quicky establish relationships in our highly complex environment, and a sense of humour will add to your ability to support others through a variety of situations.
Your key experience will include: Qualifications in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, or a relevant discipline Experience managing complex employee relations matters, union and third-party relationships Demonstrated ability to quickly research and analyse information to support stakeholder decision making Good leadership experience, and the role would suit someone keen to step up into a leadership position Knowledge of employment contract management and employee relations The ability to build relationships fast and understand the needs of stakeholders Demonstrated initiative and ability to self-motivate to achieve timely outcomes Advanced skills across HRIS applications and Microsoft Office suit Driver's License National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months) About the benefits Working with a supportive and experienced team, you'll receive coaching but also autonomy to make the role your own.
