The project will create 2,000 construction jobs and deliver lasting benefits to the local community through employment, training, and business opportunities.We seek an Employee Relations / Industrial Relations (ER/IR) Manager to join the Perdaman Project team in Karratha, WA. This role will lead and manage ER/IR functions, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, resolving workplace matters, and supporting positive employee engagement.Your Focus Will Include:Employee and Industrial Relations LeadershipProactively manage ER cases such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.Develop strategies to address workplace issues, fostering a productive and engaged environment.Lead industrial relations strategies, liaising with unions (e.g., CFMEU) and other stakeholders to mitigate risks and disputes.Compliance and GovernanceMaintain the Register of Enterprise Agreements, ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act and employment laws.Provide expert advice on enterprise agreements, awards, and industrial instruments.Employee Lifecycle ManagementOversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and offboarding processes.Support the execution of performance reviews, salary benchmarking, and workforce planning activities.Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with unions, legal advisors, and project leadership to address concerns and maintain positive relationships.Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on ER/IR-related risks and opportunities.Monitoring and ReportingMonitor workforce trends, prepare ER/IR reports, and implement insights for improved engagement and productivity.Ensure alignment with health, safety, and legislative requirements.What You Will Bring to the Team:Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, or a related field.8–10 years of ER/IR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role, preferably in construction or resources.Proven expertise in industrial relations legislation, enterprise agreement negotiations, and workforce management.Strong conflict resolution, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Our BenefitsCompetitive project site allowances.Mental health and wellbeing programs.Employee assistance programs for employees and families.Industry-leading benefits such as health insurance offers, salary packaging, and travel discounts.Clough's Inclusive WorkforceWe're committed to diversity, providing opportunities for all individuals to achieve their full potential.
