We're looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our global Employee Relations team. Reporting to the Director, Employee Relations, you'll be responsible for:
Providing advice, counsel and resolution to employees and managers on complex and sensitive employee matters including policy interpretation and application, conflict resolution, performance management, discipline and termination processes and practices
Lead, Investigate and conduct formal reviews and report outs regarding claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace concerns and other issues to reach conclusion and present findings for further action and proposed remediation
Act as escalation for highly complex matters to provide recommendations that mitigate risk. Partner and collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders at all levels to ensure optimal decisions and outcomes are made through influencing, coaching, and providing subject matter expertise that balance risk and business needs
Identify and drive philosophies and programs to foster constructive employee relations and ensure the organizations' approach to its employees is fair, respectful and consistent
Work with Leadership to reduce risks by developing programs, policies and procedures to promote fair and equitable employee relations and business decisions
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) Eight years overall experience in Human Resource with a minimum of 3-5 years direct experience in Employee Relations required with additional experience in tech
Supporting Global teams
Bachelors' degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations or related field
Solid working knowledge of the principles and practices of employee relations
In-depth knowledge and application of federal, state and local labor and employment law and regulations
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Strong project management skills, ability to create long and short-term plans, sets targets and milestones and ability to meet deadlines.
Requires experience as a hands-on HR Business Partner in a complex, high volume, high growth environment, with prior experience supporting technology teams.
