This role is integral in coordinating the Program Management Office, providing programme oversight and reporting. It's instrumental in the ongoing development of the organisation's project management processes, methods and tools and producing insightful reporting across the portfolio of projects relevant to the needs of management and the Board Strategic Projects and ICT committee. The role will also support project managers to understand and adhere to the project management framework.
This is a full-time position with a standard 38-hour work week, and you have the flexibility to choose between our Brisbane Administration Office or Townsville Head Office as your work location.
About You The ideal candidate:
Work with Head of Employee Engagement and Portfolio Project Committee (PPC) Chair to develop, implement and oversee the Project Management Framework. Offer guidance and support to Project Managers and Project Leads to ensure projects follow the Project Management Framework Train and coach project teams on Queensland Country's project management practices and contribute to continuous improvements Act as an advisor providing insights and recommendations, on project portfolio management and resource allocation To excel in this role, you should have:
Proficient in project management tools/software and excelExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenEffective time management skills and flexible to changing prioritiesStrong customer service delivery and stakeholder management skillsKnowledge in project management practicesProficient in document management processesSound understanding of change control processes, issues and risks, and document management processes Qualifications in Project Management or related field Demonstrated experience implementing PMO processes, methodologies, and toolsIf you're enthusiastic about growth your career in change communication and making a significant impact on our organisation's growth, we invite you to apply for the Change Communication Specialist position.
