About the RoleClosing Date: July 12th, 2024 Join the largest regional health service between Sydney and MelbourneCompetitive salary plus generous salary packaging optionsFlexibility for balancing work and life commitmentsThe Employee Benefits Officer will be a valued member of the Employee Benefits and Support team to undertake effective and efficient provision of a quality end-to-end payroll service including support and process implementation in the key areas of rostering, pay and benefits, and award and industrial agreements. The duties and tasks include (but are not limited to):
Maintaining knowledge of current EBA's, awards, legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Timely and accurate processing of the end-to-end in-house payroll including salary & wages, salary packaging, leave management tax and superannuation.Support rostering systems users across AWH to ensure accurate and timely delivery of the interface for payment of salary and wages.Assist in the expedient resolution of pay enquiriesMaintenance of employees leave entitlements via the payroll systems including but not limited to Annual Leave (AL), Sick Leave (SL), Purchase Leave (48/52 Leave), Long Service Leave (LSL), Parental Leave, Study Leave and Family LeaveThe successful candidate will hold (or be working towards) a relevant qualification in Payroll, Accounting or Human Resources, minimum two years' experience within a large payroll department, demonstrated experience working with HRIS and Microsoft Suit, and proficient communication and customer service skills.
