The Firm
Our client is a top 20 major law firm. Their client base consists of local and international clients, ASX-listed companies, ultra net worth individuals & families, start-ups, clients in a diverse range of industries including property, aged-care, health, education, retail, renewable energy, media/telecommunications and more.
This firm has developed strong relationships with their clients and is known not only for technical excellence but also for pragmatic and commercial advice.
The Role
Due to growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced corporate/M&A lawyer with ideally 4 years post admission experience.
This team is a high-performing and market-leading team with expertise in private & public M&A, capital markets, private equity, corporate advisory, and corporate governance.
As a senior member of the team, you will work closely with the partner and their clients. You will have client management responsibilities, lead deals, and mentor more junior members of the team. This is the ideal opportunity for you to foster strong client relationships and you will be supported in growing your own client following.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
At least 3 years of corporate law experience gained from a reputable law firm or in-house environment
Excellent technical skills as well as commercial acumen
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to manage clients and gain their trust and confidence
A passion for mentoring and supporting more junior members of the team
Drive, enthusiasm, and ambition
