Where you will be working:You will be working in our new state of the art
purpose-built hospital
that's fully equipped to get you your diagnosis with the latest imaging and diagnostic equipment.Utilise the full in-house laboratory (CBC, biochemistry, blood gas, coags, sedivue), and IDEXX's Extended Internal Medical Specialist Consultation Services after hours.
We also have ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, 64 slice CT and high field MRI.
There's 3 dedicated surgical suites, 8 consultation rooms, and a dedicated grieving room.Our emergency department works alongside our specialist surgical, medical, oncology, behaviour, and orthopaedic medicine & rehabilitation departments.Bonus perks at ARH Canberra include ample free undercover parking and a

always stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits and an array of snacks!Our emergency department currently operates through the afternoon, evening and overnight period, closing at 8am through the week, and is operational 24/7 on weekends and public holidays.
We see primary consultations, patients referred from general practice clinics for overnight and ongoing care, and oversee the hospitalised referral department patients after hours.How we will support you on your career journey:

About You:
Must hold a
veterinary degree
available for registration in the ACT.Preferably
2+ years' post-graduate experience
with experience in an emergency veterinary setting is desirable; however, if you have a great attitude and want to learn we want to hear from you!Commitment to being a team player, good communicator and contributing to a positive workplace environment.Dedication to delivering compassionate and high-quality veterinary care.Additional Information
