Glencore employs over 145,000 people and operates around 150 mining and processing sites, oil production assets, and agricultural facilities in over 35 countries.The RoleThe successful candidates will become members of a hardworking and committed team responsible for the coordination and training activities of our site Emergency Response Team while ensuring a high level of emergency preparedness is always maintained.
You will be responsible for:Leading the response to emergencies on or off site, in line with our procedures.Performing inspections to determine the level of compliance with our HSE Management System and legislative requirements.Developing and maintaining Rescue Plans and Emergency Response procedures as part of the Permit to Work system on site.Undertaking servicing and maintenance tasks for designated safety, fire protection, emergency response equipment, and vehicles.Maintaining the competency of emergency response team volunteers to ensure a high level of emergency preparedness.Assisting with security-related issues as necessary.About YouThis role would suit an Emergency Response Professional looking to build their career in mining.
