What will you do as Emergency Services Officer? You name it. As a qualified ESO/MESO, you need to be able to deliver Emergency Management and frontline health care to a site-based workforce. We are currently looking for multiple Mine / Emergency Services Officers for FIFO roles from Perth. The roles are for coverage work and shutdowns; however, we also have rosters on an 8/6 or a 14/14 rotation with potential transition to permanent for the right candidates. Accommodation and meals are provided.
As the successful MESO / ESO you will be required to:
Maintain site Emergency Response Vehicles and EquipmentRespond to and manage site-based incident responseManage and train the site's Emergency Response TeamProvide first response medical treatmentDaily management of the site medical centre (site dependent)Management of poison permit and maintain medical stockConduct random Drug and Alcohol Testing on site and manage breathalyser equipmentEnsure correct reporting of all required medical and OHS statisticsAssess and coordinate the treatment of injuries and illnesses on siteMaintain accurate Injury Reports and treatment recordsIt is essential that your values align with ours:
