Reporting to the Health, Safety and Training Manager, you will develop, implement, and monitor the mines' emergency preparedness and response systems to ensure a safe work environment for all employees by:
Ensuring dust sampling in completed in accordance with site and legislative requirements.
Ensuring all emergency response equipment installation and maintenance is implemented in accordance with the site Emergency Preparedness Plan and relevant OEM requirements.
Preparing and managing simulated emergency exercises.
Coordinating emergency response and fire refresher training for site personnel.
Maintaining core details of Mine Rescue Team Members and monitoring coverage of First Aid qualified personnel across shifts and crews.
