Your benefits include:Relocation assistanceSalary packaging, vehicle, housing options, life and income protectionBonus' including short and long-term incentivesEmployee referral bonusesRecognition programStudy assistanceDiscounted health insurance and gym membershipConvenient and comfortable bus transportation to site and from West Wyalong at the beginning and end of your shiftThis roster will be 7/7 and a 12-hour day.About the roleSafety is paramount at Evolution Mining and in this role, you will enjoy implementing and maintaining training of the Emergency Response team and Safety management system whilst providing Pre-Hospital Care to employees and minimising risk in the workplace by promoting health and safety protocols.Educating and influencing by example your role will consist of the following:Actively support the Emergency Response Team through the development and delivery of training packages to site personnel based on the training plan contentMaintain medical clinic and emergency equipmentImplement, train and support the ERT (Emergency Response Team)Develop and maintain a specific skill set to facilitate the development of the ERTDeliver site specific training as requiredSupport the Senior Advisor – Health, Safety and Emergency Response to deliver the required level of emergency response training to ERT personnelSupport the Site Access Control with Fit for Work testingProvide leave coverage for the Site Access ControlProvide the first response capability for injury management on siteContribute to the ongoing development, continual improvement and the communication of the site's Health and Safety Management SystemAssist with ERT annual budgeting process and ensure costs are managed to meet budget expectationsReview, inspect and audit the sites Emergency response facilities, processes and documents to ensure compliance against site and legislative standardsDevelop and implement ERT training scheduleFacilitate emergency response exercisesMaintain ERT equipment and facilityWork within and comply with the Evolution Mining and CGO site-specific safety and health management system.Understand and comply with requirements of environmental approvals and relevant environment, health and safety legislation.Understand and support the CGO environment management system.About youCertificate III Mine Emergency Response (Underground)Certificate IV Training and Assessment (Desirable)Certificate IV in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Response and or Occupational First AidHLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testingMinimum 3 years' experience in public safety and emergency response preferably in a mining, construction or engineering environmentCompetent in the use of the Microsoft suite of software and general database useExperience working as part of a multi-disciplined HSE functionExperience with open cut and underground Mines Rescue (Desirable)Sound knowledge of (or the ability to rapidly acquire) NSW workers compensation, workplace rehabilitation and mining H&S legislationExperience in the development of emergency response and treatment protocols in a heavy industry environmentCompetent in writing and reviewing management plans, procedures, and other H&S related system documentationEngaging delivery of both theoretical and hands on, competency-based trainingEffective influencing and communication skills across a range of stakeholdersExperience in project management, and effective implementation of changeCommitment to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout EvolutionAt Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
