Role Purpose: As the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, you will lead the development, implementation, and review of our
organization-wide initiatives in Continuity, Emergency Management and Recovery, and Critical Incident Management.
Your responsibilities include maintaining precise records, monitoring compliance with emergency and business continuity
management standards, and devising innovative solutions within our collaborative team. This role demands high
professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality to support and guide both internal senior staff and external partners.

Knowledge and skills:
• Must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
• Proven collaborative skills within a team setting, ideally within a community organization or in contexts related to
continuity, emergency management, recovery, or critical incidents.
• Experienced in developing and implementing strategies and programs in emergency management and continuity,
with a deep understanding of relevant terminology, best practices, and regulations.
Qualifications and Registrations:
• A relevant qualification and experience, or a combination of extensive relevant experience and/or education/training
in emergency management, business continuity management, or critical incident management is preferred.

• Competitive pay and conditions based on the ACCHS Award – Grade 6: $45.56 per hour (Above award wages).
