The Position
This hospital is currently seeking expression of interest from qualified and experienced Emergency Medicine Consultants to provide specialist emergency services to adult and paediatric patients.
The Hospital
This is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The hospital provides services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds. The Emergency Department provides care for 70 000 patients annually. Approximately 25% of the case load is paediatric. It also runs a 20 bed Emergency Medical Unit.

The Requirements
