The ERH Emergency Department (ED) manages in excess of 21,000 presentations per annum.
Key responsibilities include: Deliver evidenced based care in a safe and timely manner to Emergency patientsUndertake the appropriate and efficient assessment and treatment of patients presenting to the Emergency Department in accordance with triage categories and guidelinesEffectively communicate with all stakeholders to pursue a high standard of care and ensure the appropriate continuity of careSupervise and support Doctors in Training (DiTs) and ACEM trainees at ERH; consistent with their level of training and individual learning needsActively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requestedParticipation in On Call RosterQualifications/experience required: Registration with the Medical Board of AustraliaSignificant experience in Emergency MedicineAt ERH we offer a supportive and inclusive culture that offers opportunity for growth and development.
