We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Consultant to join a dedicated team in a thriving regional health service. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant and growing area with a focus on providing high-quality emergency care.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse range of cases, including 25% pediatrics and a significant trauma caseload. Provide expert clinical services within the Clinical Services Capability Framework and clinical privileges granted. Assist satellite hospitals and rural sites through Telehealth and in-person support. Contribute to innovative pre-hospital care models, including HITH and GEDI programs. Engage in the development of a new Emergency Department. Enjoy flexible and equitable rostering that balances service needs with academic priorities. Potential involvement in the Regional Aeromedical Retrieval Service. Participate in a successful postgraduate education and training program, including ACEM fellowship and diploma training. Provide clinical supervision and training for junior medical staff, medical students, and other health professionals. About the Region:
