This is the largest public hospital in the region, supporting a population of almost 540,000, with strong links to community-based services that provide continuity of care for patients.
The hospital is also the principal teaching hospital of the region with close links to the 17th best university in the world and number one in Australia.The Role:Our client has a very busy Emergency Department with a modern, expanded physical space consisting of a 5 bed resuscitation area, 30 acute beds, 16 short stay beds, fast track stream with a sub-wait, and 14 treatment spaces, as well as a dedicated paediatric area with 6 beds and 2 consult rooms.One of the busiest EDs in the country, seeing over 89,000 presentations per annum with approximately 20% paediatric presentations.There is potential for FACEMs to be involved in the Regional Aeromedical Retrieval Service.The Requirements: You must hold the FACEMOr be assessed by ACEM as 'substantially comparable'Please click on 'apply now', or for more information call Allisha McKenzie on +61 498 462 *** or send your CV to ****** #J-18808-Ljbffr
