We have partnered with WA Health to arrange interviews for consultants who are interested in starting this role in February 2025 or as soon as possible.
About the Role: Specialist Care: Provide high-quality emergency medical care across a range of cases, including trauma and interhospital transfers.Clinical Leadership: Ensure optimal patient outcomes through leadership and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including rural generalists.Supervision & Teaching: Oversee Registrars and Junior Medical Officers (JMOs), and participate in teaching medical students and JMOs.Patient Flow: Manage and improve patient flow in the Emergency Department, ensuring efficient and effective care.Remuneration: Salary Range: Based on classifications under the WA Health System – Medical Practitioners – AMA Industrial Agreement 2022.Additional Benefits: Professional development allowance, location-based allowances, subsidised accommodation, and salary packaging.What We Offer: Generous Leave: Up to 4 weeks annual leave, 3 weeks professional development leave, 10 days sick leave, plus compassionate or cultural leave.Long Service Rewards: Long Service Leave after 10 years, additional leave for overseas professional development after 5 years.Allowances: North West Gratuity Payment, District Allowance, travel subsidies, air-conditioning subsidy.Salary Packaging: Up to $9,010 for living expenses, $2,650 for dining, and novated leasing options.Superannuation: 11.5%Relocation Support: Reimbursement for relocation costs and access to employee-sponsored work visas.Professional Development: Opportunities for growth and learning.Flexible Work Options: Consideration for flexible work and roster options.Please submit your CV below and we will reach out to you for a discussion about your preferred location.
