About the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide regional support in operations and emergency management.
The role reports to the Manager of the Operations and Emergency Management Branch, within the Regional Operations in each region.
The branch is responsible for internal facilities management and administrative services to the region; and advice to government schools on emergency management and planning, facilities and occupational health and safety (OHS) matters.
The position is required to provide strategic advice on risk assessment and mitigation across the region and to facilitate a consistent and professional approach across the region.
The position is also required to promote and maintain strong relationships with other regional staff, Departmental central staff, and government schools in the region.
