About the role: The Emergency Department Data Officer (EDDO) provides support to the Emergency Department Business Practice Improvement Officer (ED BPIO) in delivering technical advice and high-quality data auditing to meet mandatory and statutory reporting requirements.
The EDDO performs data validation, reporting, systems access, training and education, system management, and data management roles within the Emergency Department.
You will assist the ED BPIO in identifying opportunities for quality improvement by providing a data collection and validation service and reporting on findings, while meeting legislative requirements and complying with Commonwealth and State data collection requirements.
About you: Mandatory qualification/s:Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, advanced skills in QHERS, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Email (Outlook) to prepare data requests and collate information would be well regarded.Ability to quickly develop expertise in other information technology systems and databases to extract data and develop reports would be well regarded.Demonstrated ability to manage information systems and provide technical training, including technical knowledge of contemporary data quality principles.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of information systems for their ability to collect information and report health information.What we offer: Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $6,635 p.m. is comprised of:
