With stunning National Parks and Lake Bonney nearby, our region is perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities and a rich cultural diversity.As an ED Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering clinical services of the highest standard.
You will respond to critical situations, manage the clinical floor, and provide guidance and training to junior staff in a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment.
Your leadership will be key in ensuring our department runs smoothly and efficiently.Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality clinical care in the Emergency Department, responding to MET/Code Blue/Code Black calls.Oversee day-to-day management of the clinical floor, mentoring junior team members.Engage in teaching, quality assurance, and health promotion activities within the community.
Essential Requirements: Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent with Specialist registration in Australia.A minimum of five years' experience in a medical position within a hospital's emergency department or community health setting.Strong leadership skills with experience managing medical and surgical emergencies.Commitment to providing safe, high-quality care in line with national standards.
