About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician to join the team based out our Townsville Depot. As a dynamic, family-run business, we are an industry leader in the AU Logistics Industry with a strong focus on people, safety and forging long term business relationships. As a result, we are experiencing rapid growth within the business and are seeking enthusiastic and qualified workshop technicians to support our continued phase of growth.
Roster Rotating roster - Week 1 : Monday to Friday / Week 2: Tuesday to Saturday Attractive Salary + Weekend rates + Super + Weekly pay cycles Full-time, permanent employment opportunity with an AU Logistics industry leader that is achieving continued growth Well-equipped workshops with all required tools and equipment All Uniforms, PPE requirements and boot allowance provided Access to our Employee Assistance Program Monthly toolbox meetings with lunch provided Training provided by trade industry professionals with the opportunity to work within a supportive and close-knit team Skills and Experience Trade qualifications in Automotive Mechanics (Heavy Road Transport) are essential with demonstrated work experience as a Mechanic or similar Knowledge of Kenworth Trucks will be held in high regard Experience with the maintenance of fuel trucks and trailers (highly desirable) Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised whilst maintaining a safe work area Proven culture of safety, understanding hazard identification and risk assessment process A proactive approach to tasks and the ability to positively interact with customers All applicants must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to undergo a criminal history check, pre-employment medical and/or drug & alcohol testing as required.
