About The Role FP&A Manager is required to support the Finance lead, the Strategy Lead, Finance Strategy and Transformation Manager, and leadership team in delivering the business's growth strategy for Corporate Finance EMEA with FTI Consulting, a practice with 550+ staff, 7 service lines and 8 country locations. This is a broad role with key aspects ranging across all areas of the business's financial and operational management - from strategic planning and financial control to driving improvements in operational and financial processes. The candidate will also work on various strategic initiatives, projects, and will leverage business intelligence for financial and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate thinks creatively and is solution orientated with excellent inter-personal skills.
What You'll Do Acting as efficient and trusted business partner. Preparing and reviewing monthly financial reports, providing management updates and commentaries. Maintaining close contact with the Finance Team to collect appropriate information on P&L reviews, essential data points on revenue, SG&A and bonus accruals. Driving improvements in reporting, processes, and systems to support business growth. Preparing budgets and quarterly financial forecasts. Provide strategic oversight of the end-to-end billing-to-cash collection process, with a focus on maximizing efficiency, enhancing visibility, and ensuring optimal DSO. Maintaining and updating the quarterly talent plan to serve as a powerful strategic tool for informed decision-making. Reporting on WIP and AR and assisting in driving down working capital investment. Preparing decks for the CF EMEA management meetings. Leading and contributing to operational improvement projects to optimize performance and manage risk. Conducting bespoke analysis around unit and individual performance to provide insights and decision support. Maintaining and developing core financial models (e.g., team profitability model, compensation model) and ensuring visual dashboards act as powerful tools to drive company efficiency and profitability. Fostering improved financial integration of recently acquired businesses, increasing visibility, and strengthening control mechanisms for enhanced overall financial performance. Contributing to the digitalization of operational and financial tools with Power BI and PowerApps. What You Will Need to Succeed Qualified accountant with robust commercial acumen, preferably in professional services or an equivalent field, coupled with significant post-qualification experience. Demonstrated ability to work within a matrix organization and deliver projects requiring senior stakeholder buy-in. Strong working knowledge of and demonstrable experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial planning. Advanced Excel skills and general systems proficiency. The role provides access to highly confidential, sensitive private information on individuals and clients. Therefore, the candidate's appreciation for and commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and trust cannot be understated. Experience working with Power BI is ideal but not essential. Superb problem-solving skills with experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives. Highly effective and proactive communicator with the ability to build relationships, providing both support and constructive challenge.
