About the role Our Client is seeking a Frontend Software Developer - JavaScript (ideally React as a framework) with relevant experience to join the team in Sydney CBD.
The primary focus of the role is to develop and maintain Linux based deployed sensors.
Working closely with ML/AI, Data Science, RF and infrastructure teams to innovate and enhance world leading RF detection and defeat technology.
It represents an exceptional opportunity for a result-driven individual in a new niche but exploding market.
Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations Design and develop the current frontend systems to increase functionality and usability.Build features and improvements from conceptualisation to realisation working closely with the software engineering team.Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to implement system requirements, from Algorithm engineers to UI/UX designers.Take operational responsibility for the code base that you will develop.Qualifications, Experience and Skills BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.At least 5+ years of experience as a Front End Developer.Solid understanding of JavaScript (ideally React as a framework).Comfortable writing Python or Go (to support the team in API integration).Familiarity with Docker and GitLab is favourable.You are a lifelong learner.

You are interested in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise.You are experienced working with modern infrastructure and tools.You are comfortable running your software in Linux environments.You know and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming and automated testing.
