Elsum Family Law is seeking a dedicated Family Lawyer to join our team in Melbourne.
This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced lawyer to provide exceptional family law services to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
Providing advice and representation in all aspects of family law, including divorce, parenting matters, child support, property settlements, and financial agreements.
Conducting thorough client interviews to understand their unique needs and concerns.
Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as affidavits, separation agreements, and court orders.
Engaging in negotiations and mediation.
Representing clients in court proceedings.
What we're looking for
Australian legal qualification and current practicing certificate in Victoria.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in family law.
High level of knowledge in family law and ability to apply this to complex cases.
Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships with clients.
Ability to work collaboratively with other lawyers and staff to provide a high level of service and support to clients.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Strong attention to detail.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up to date with changes in family law.
