In this role, you will deliver a customer-centric, empathetic service to key stakeholders acting as the first point of contact as part of the claims lodgement process.How you'll make an impact: Act as the first point of contact for injured workers, employers, medical practitioners, etc for all matters regarding a workplace injury claim;Conduct risk assessments and triage of claims severity to ensure barriers are identified and appropriate strategies implemented;Coordinate the claims lodgement process, ensuring key information is obtained from stakeholders to support the timely determination of a claim and requesting additional information where required;Undertake liability determinations for new, secondary or reopened claims in accordance with the relevant information and information at hand;Calculate Normal Weekly Earnings (NWE) for claims;Document relevant information from initial claims lodgement summaries to support a warm handover to Claims teams.About you: A passion for helping people, with experience in administration or customer service.
