This role involves assessing claim eligibility, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesClaims Assessment: Evaluate new claims for eligibility under self-insurance policies and applicable workers' compensation laws.Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with injured employees, healthcare providers, legal teams, and customer injury management personnel to facilitate communication and resolve issues.Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims activities, communications, and decisions made throughout the claims process.Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all claims comply with state and federal regulations and internal policies regarding self-insurance.Employee Support: Provide guidance and support to injured employees regarding their rights, benefits, and responsibilities under workers' compensation laws.Training and Development: Assist in the training of staff on workers' compensation assessment processes and self-insurance practices.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources, Risk Management desirable).Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in workers' compensation claims management or case management.Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and self-insurance regulations.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Skills and CompetenciesAnalytical Skills: Ability to assess complex information and make informed decisions.Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with a focus on accuracy.Problem-solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.Empathy: Understanding the challenges injured workers face and providing compassionate support.Working ConditionsBlended office-based work and work from home.Occasional travel may be required for meetings or site visits.About DXCDXC Technology (NYSE: DXC) helps global companies run their mission critical systems and operations while modernising IT, optimising data architectures, and ensuring security and scalability across public, private and hybrid clouds.
