The Position Requirements Include But Are Not Limited To
Manufacture, refurbish, repair, engrave, electroform and chrome plate nickel intaglio printing plates Chemical, physical and metallurgic tests including solution preparation & analysis, and hardness testing Perform maintenance of tanks, anodes & solutions and calibration of tools and measuring devices Recognise & rectify process deviations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Strictly following all required OH&S, quality and security procedures
To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following:
Qualifications in surface finishing, electroplating, or electroforming Proven experience in electroforming, electroplating & chrome plating in an industrial printing environment Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills A team player with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude is essential Strong communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to detail Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required
On Offer
Hours: Day shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Pay rate: $46.63 per hour + overtime + 12 RDO's + 12.5% super
