Electronics Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced RF Technician who has a significant level of experience in modern Digital Communications technology to help deliver communication solutions to the warfighter. Defence is operating in an ever increasing contested, highly complex and dynamic battlespace. They need systems that can function in all weather and conditions.The Role:Ensure safe, reliable and effective installation, operation and maintenance of communication systems and networksProvide maintenance and support of technical systemsMaintain specificationsTest, identify and repair equipment as requiredWork with engineering and projects teams to develop technical solutions for clientsInitiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channelsExperience Required:A CERT IV in Electronics or Electrical communications systemsA strong track record in RF communicationsMust have UHF/VHF/HF or SATCOM experienceTerrestrial or SATCOM bearer experience would be beneficialAssist in the maintenance installation and commissioning as requiredStrong interpersonal communication skills (written and oral)A high level of understanding of user requirementsMust have a current AGSVA issued NV1 Clearance to applyThis is a critical role.
