About the roleProbedrill Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer/Technician to join our team in Cockburn Central, Western Australia.
This full-time role will see you applying your electrical and electronic engineering/technician expertise to support the design, development, and maintenance of our innovative Cone Penetrometer Testing equipment.What you'll be doingDesign, develop, and test electronic circuits and systems for our CPT instrumentationTroubleshoot and maintain existing electronic components and systemsCalibrate load cells built into the instrumentationAnalyze performance data and provide recommendations for product improvementsBuild new digital instrumentation including strain gauging of load cells and converting existing analogue instrumentation to digitalBuild and maintain new digital DAQ for each rigModify existing Labview and Catman softwareStay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in electrical/electronic engineeringWhat we're looking forBachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a certified electronics qualificationMinimum 3 years of experience in electronic design, development, and troubleshootingProficient in schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB design softwareHands-on experience with electronic components, circuit board assembly, and testingStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesWhat we offerAt Probedrill Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
