Rework PCB assemblies to IPC standards. Build high quality products in accordance with specified standards and quality systems. Inspect kits from stores and verify correct part before loading onto PCB Clean and Inspect finished PCB assembly. Solder PTH & SMT parts using a hand soldering iron. Hand paste bare PCB's using a manual paste dispenser machine. Operate within CEA's quality standards. Follow IPC-A-610 as reference for soldering/assembly standards. Follow IPC-7711/7721 as reference for Rework, Modification and Repair of Electronic Assemblies. Assembling prototype products under minimal supervision Essential Require excellent soldering and inspection skills in electronics assembly. Have good mechanical assembly skills. Have a high level of attention to detail. Be able to interpret drawings and assembly information provided by supervisor. Good computer skills. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Motivation, enthusiasm and highly developed communication skills are critical to succeeding in this role. Eligibility To be eligible for this position you must be: An Australian Citizen Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance - NV1.
