About the OPPORTUNITY We currently have multiple Entry Level Electronic Assembler opportunities within our Battlespace Integrated Systems based in Edinburgh Parks, SA.

The Entry Level Electronic Assembler is responsible for production assembly of electronic products within the Electronics production assembly team.
Perform Printed Circuit Board (PCB) level assembly, both through hole and surface mount Place and hand solder chip components as small as 0201 and 01005 Work on densely populated Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and with large heat planes Undertake looming and wiring assembly to IPC or MIL standards Identify, participate and input into local and business level continual improvement opportunities Work in a high mix low volume environment with constantly changing priorities About YOU Steady hand & strong attention to detail Great can-do attitude and willingness to learn Ability to use specialised hand and power tools and basic test equipment (preferable but not essential) Interest in Electronics or Manufacturing Completed STEM subjects or any education in Electronics (preferable but not essential) The following certification and experience is desirable but not essential: Have a current certification in J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and IPC 7711/7721 desirable Certificate level training in Electro technology desirable Experience in PCB X-Ray inspection desirable Experience in the use of specialised hand and power tools and basic test equipment is preferable but not essential Experience in complex Electronic Circuit Card Assembly and Inspection is preferable but not essential We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
