We are seeking an experienced Electronic Equipment Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine maintenance tasks on dust collector systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity, including cleaning and inspecting electrical components, and lubricating moving parts. Read codes, wiring diagrams and engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components. Provide technical assistance and resolution when electronic problems are encountered before, during, and after installations. Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers' representatives as necessary to obtain replacement parts. Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with collector systems, utilizing electronic testing equipment and schematics to identify and resolve problems efficiently. Repair or replace faulty components within vacuum systems, such as motors, sensors, control panels, and circuit boards, to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Calibrate electronic controls and sensors within vacuum systems to maintain accuracy and consistency in performance, adhering to industry standards and specifications. Perform safety inspections on vacuum systems to identify potential hazards or compliance issues, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed on vacuum systems, documenting findings and recommendations for future reference. Requirements: AQF Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV in a closely related field, or at least 3 years of experience Good attention to detail Excellent communication skills Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
