SMART ELECTRICAL AND COMMUNICATIONS PTY LTD is located in Kings Park NSW. We provide service on domestic and commercial electrical and electronic equipment servicing, calibration and repairs. We are currently looking for an experienced Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:Installing electronics equipment and systems on machineries used in industries.Repairing and adjusting electronics equipment as needed (including sensors and CCTV maintenance).Testing machines and electronic equipment to diagnose faults using a variety of diagnostic tools including visual inspection.Perform preventative maintenance on test equipment.Installing and managing electronic systems on trucks and vehicles, including tracking devices; Electronic controls on cameras.Calibration, updating firmware and fault finding on inverter.Maintaining logs.Assisting with the Test Failure Measurement Evaluation and Analysis as needed.Diagnosing and repairing defective parts to ensure the correct functioning of the machines.Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment.Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.Escalating test failure issues to higher-level technicians and manufacturing.Installing electronic instruments and control systems.Gathering, interpreting and entering failure data information into computerized tracking system and preparing reports.Following established practices and procedures in a specific technical discipline.Operating, maintaining and troubleshooting production test equipment.Requirements:Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in related area.Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.Able to perform analytical tasks with awareness of occupational health and safety regulations.Mechanical competence and know-how.Ability to break down often complex technical information into a language more easily digested by the general public.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills.Fast learner to understand and apply new knowledge and techniques.Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 p.a. plus superannuation.
