They now seek an experienced Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join the in Diggers Rest, Victoria.
The Role This is a full time role with an annual salary between $73,500 to $80,000 depending on experience plus superannuation.
Responsibilities Identifying the occupational health and safety and workplace procedures required to complete tasks safelyInvestigating and testing electronic device and equipment to diagnose faultsAdjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective electronic components, and maintaining machines, equipment, and devicesAssembling, installing, testing operation, and adjusting electronic equipment and systemsAdvising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctionsConfiguring, programming, and setting up electronic device interface, equipment, and systemApplying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical principles in installing, commissioning, and maintaining electronic systems such as computer, audio, video, security, and communication systemsLearning about Australian Standards, legislation, regulations and terminology relevant to an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker.Managing resources and working effectively with othersCommunicating effectivelyIdentifying and resolving issues and problemsPlanning installations by evaluating location; locating access; availability of signal laying-out equipment and wiring plan.Discusses site location and construction requirements with customer.Delivering quality services to our customers and ensure products and services are explainedTesting equipment and connections, identifying and correcting problemsMaintaining safe work environment by following safe practicesVisually inspects installation site to identify obstructions, such as trees or buildings that could distort or block signals from network devicesThe Requirements Formal qualifications in Electronic Engineering or related fieldAt least 2 years of relevant experience gained in a commercial settingAt least 2 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of electronic systemsAt least 2 years of experience in equipment reassembly and testingAt least 2 years of experience in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsMust have knowledge and understanding of conforming to the ISO 9001:2015 standardsMust have proficient time management skills and the ability to manage, prioritise and delegate multiple tasks in order to ensure the desired outcomeAbility to quickly understand complex drawings and prepare general arrangement drawings and layoutsAbility to communicate in a clear and understandable manner
