We are looking for an experienced full time Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough examinations of lift systems, equipment, and control instruments to identify faults.
Use diagnostic tools and techniques to assess system performance and functionality.
Perform adjustments, repairs, and replacements of worn or defective electrical parts and wiring.
Maintain and service machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Reassemble lift components after repairs or upgrades.
Test operational functionality to ensure all systems work correctly and safely before final handover.
Provide clear instructions to clients and users on proper operating procedures for lift systems.
Offer troubleshooting advice to prevent operational malfunctions and enhance user experience.
Interpret coded messages from control systems and convert them into clear instructions for team members and clients.
Document installation processes, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Monitor radio traffic and effectively communicate with team members during installation and maintenance operations.
Transmit and receive voice messages to coordinate tasks and ensure safety on-site.
Install and configure electronic instruments and control systems integral to lift operation.
Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Utilize knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles in the commissioning and maintenance of lift systems.
Collaborate with mechanical teams to integrate electronic and mechanical components effectively.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working at heights and in potentially hazardous environments.
Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety within the team.
Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in lift systems and electronic equipment.
Suggest improvements to installation processes and maintenance practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements Minium 2 years' experience in lift installation or a similar field is highly desirable.
Certification in working at heights and high-risk work licenses for dogging and rigging.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
