Based in Adelaide, we are looking for a talented individual to lead the research, development, engineering, and documentation of new electromechanical products specifically designed for the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Key Responsibilities: Follow Schneider Electric's Offer Lifecycle Management and Agile methodologies for product development. Collaborate with the Industrial Design team to develop innovative solutions. Adapt engineering designs based on customer feedback. Use digital simulation tools for design validation. Manage risk with DFMEA and FTA during development. Ensure designs meet safety, quality, reliability, and cost standards. Provide ongoing engineering support throughout product lifecycles. Deliver high-quality 3D models, BOMs, and specifications. Take ownership of technical decisions and participate in peer reviews. Promote continuous improvement and proactively address challenges. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in engineering and developing mechanical or electromechanical products. Strong experience in engineering and designing complex plastic parts. Proven track record in documenting new designs, managing risk, and optimizing designs for quality, reliability, and manufacturing. Experience working within an Agile framework. Proficiency in the PTC Creo computer-aided design (CAD) tool suite. Why Schneider Electric?
